We've shown how creative storytelling combined with collective action can change the course of even the largest ship. Our first campaign "The Hole" moved Sweden's largest public pension fund AP7 to change their strategy and divest from oil companies like Chevron, BP & Total moving a value of over 15 billion SEK.
How did we do it? We showed grandma that her pension was rigged against her grandchildren - she wasn't happy.
Now the largest ship of them all are the underlying stories we tell ourselves. The story of success. The story of individualism. The story of separation.
These stories keep us trapped in our hyper capitalistic system that is destroying us and the planet we depend on. It's time to change them. Time to drive the systemic change we so desperately need.

Fund Your Mother: Stories For Systemic Change
Our award-winning creative storytelling has already moved over 15 billion SEK out of fossil fuels and shown that systemic change is possible. We now invite you to be part of our journey as the first group of creatives and financiers that built Fund Your Mother into a non-profit, Stockholm-based global production house for systemic change.

Screening of exclusive film material and opportunity to get involved!
Fund Your Mother invites you to a night of pitches and screenings of early material for ongoing film projects. Everything from satire for food system reform to longer formats for conversations that we believe is missing in the public discourse. Join us in celebrating what's been accomplished so far and reflect on what's still left to be done to ensure the survival of our species (obviously a lot).

Why this event? Why is Fund Your Mother needed?
The problem
The current film financing landscape is structurally misaligned with the urgency and complexity of the human predicament, leaving systemic-change storytelling chronically underfunded.
Despite growing public awareness of climate breakdown, democratic erosion, and economic instability, institutional funders remain risk-averse, prioritising conventional narratives (such as true crime and celebrity-centred storytelling) over films and campaigns that interrogate deeper structural drivers. This gap forces visionary filmmakers to navigate fragmented grants, limited public schemes, and philanthropic silos that rarely support ambitious, cross-disciplinary work.
The solution
Fund Your Mother as a Stockholm-based global production house and film collective would offer a catalytic solution to this structural gap by mobilising the city’s unique convergence of capital, creativity, and mission-driven investors.
This event is the first step towards the formation of such a collective. A collective that would enable filmmakers to pursue deeper structural narratives with creative freedom and strategic backing.
A collective that would strengthen cultural resilience and transform Stockholm into a global hub for films that inspire systemic change and foster a more regenerative future.
With your help, let's build such a collective!
